The Edit menu (Figure A) provides options to add, delete, and edit your files, as well as set your preferences.

Add
File ... - Opens a Windows dialog box where you can browse for a schema or instance document to add to your project. |

Directory ... - Opens a Java dialog box where you can browse for a directory to add to your project. |

| Delete
- Deletes the selected file or folder from your project. |
|
| Delete
All - Deletes all files and folders from your project so you can start from scratch. |
|
| Edit
- Opens the selected schema or instance document in the appropriate application. |
|
| Preferences...
- Opens the Preferences pane, where you can choose your browser, schema editor, and instance editor, and set other options. |
